Astrology Star Cast for July 18

Energetically, the week between last quarter and the next new moon of July 23rd is a time to get your bearings and make adjustments.

It’s a time for critical thought that grants you a unique perspective to reflect on the past and peer into your future. In short, it’s an essential time to refine your goals made around the time of new moon on June 23rd.

How are you doing on your fulfillment held within the arms of Pluto and the full Moon of July 8th? Remember, even a small shift can give birth to a new pathway of expression.

If you’re feeling a bit off-course, there are several planetary aspect this week to assist your distillation of the full moon/Pluto wine.

The week is flavored by two sharp squares; Venus square Neptune and Mars square Uranus.

The square is a cosmic wake up call intended to get your attention. Sadly, Venus square Neptune rips off the rose-colored glasses. Venus is breezing through Gemini now, and although she is not particularly emotional, she has the gift of clairsentience (clear seeing) in her relationship to Neptune in Pisces.

The Redemption of Mars

Mars stands guard in a state of solidarity through his challenging square to Uranus. Mars square Uranus doesn’t always feel fair. When ‘the Soldier’ (Mars) challenges ‘the Revolutionary’ (Uranus), anything can happen.

Keep in mind, though, that Uranus changes only that which desperately needs change.

When Uranus strikes, expect the unexpected.

On one level, it seems like everything that can go wrong is doing so. But, as you see these changes in the world, remember that you also have a great opportunity to transform your personal life now.

Not only does Mars square Uranus on July 17th, but the new moon of July 23rd features a triple play lineup of Sun, Moon, and Mars in the first degree of Leo.

The high path of Mars is to break out of slavery and liberate ourselves. The adverse Mars is destructive; the high Mars is brave and enterprising.

The spiritual Mars channels the creative powers of the Universe.

Negatively, Mars gives birth to treason, fires, and sudden death. But Mars is also a protector and brave warrior who fights to create lasting peace.

This week leading up to the new moon of July 23rd is powerful, but not necessarily peaceful. Mars is still getting his ‘groove’ on – smoothing out bumps in the road ahead.

What this means for you is: you don’t have to be perfect, you don’t even have to be great – you just need to be YOU! The best you that you can BE.

 

Weekly Star Cast for July 10

After such a dramatic and important full moon, is it possible that today is the first day of a brave new world?

It feels like New Year’s Day of 2000, the day after the Y2K abyss;  or, like December 23rd, the day after the predicted ‘end of the Mayan calendar’ of 2012.

Wow, we just had a full moon conjunct Pluto and opposed by the Sun conjunct Mars!  What’s next?

It feels like another day; only – wait – the air is clear, and maybe Truth is coming closer to a union with Justice.

So, What’s Going On?

Mars is moving ahead in direct motion; but Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto are retrograde now. These three outer planets are twisting deeply like a roto-rooter, digging out ‘data’ held in situations, facts, figures, and even meetings that were intended to remain private.

This week begins with the moon in Aquarius.  Let this air sign inspire you in your search for self-expression.

Even the moon needs a rest after her culmination, and she rests easy much of this week.

On Monday the moon trines Venus (Aquarius to Gemini, on Tuesday, the Moon trines Jupiter and sextiles Saturn, and on Wednesday, the Moon sextiles Uranus; these are all favorable aspects to help you Regulate and Integrate.

Although the lunar aspects are relatively easy, this is not a week to sleep, rather, it’s a rich time to work smoothly and efficiently.   It’s also a valuable time to work on you own roto-rooter projects.

It’s your time to address anything that is old, decaying, and/or in need of a major clean out.

The Days of Revelation

The fertile days of Integration slowly come to a close as we move towards the last quarter moon on Sunday, July 16th.

The tides are changing; as the sun moves closer to Leo and the Great Solar Eclipse of August 21st, the ‘days of silence’ begin to retreat, and the tides flow towards the ‘days of revelation’.

Astrology Predictions for June 26

My key phrase for this week is: Accelerated Growth

Last Friday, we welcomed the New Moon in the sign of Cancer. As an cardinal, or action starting water sign, the deeper spiritual lesson of Cancer is to heal ourselves as we overcome he apparent limitation of the physical world.

The reward is that we regain balance through sharing and love. By doing so, we move beyond to physical world to the spiritual world.   Cancer teaches us about find true security.

Now that we have the reset of the New moon, it’s time to get busy.  The  cardinal signs are Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, and Libra. Each one of these signs has a way of initiation. And, the 1st quarter moon on this week, Friday, is in Libra. So, the stars urge that you don’t linger in your emotions, rather, think about what needs to be done, get busy and take action steps.

This week, on Tuesday, we have two major planetary aspects from Mercury to help us  get going.

Mercury square Jupiter is an aspect that presents a demand – the square needs your participation.

And, Mercury trine Neptune affirms that you’ll have a great outcome. Tune into your intuition, listen carefully, and take the steps that are whispered in your inner ear.

Tune In

Make time this week for a ‘time –out’ to tune into your inner wisdom. Pay attention to messages from animals and listen to other ques from the Divine Mother. Apply the lessons of Cancer through feeding your body with healthy and nurturing foods. The sooner you respond to subtle messages from Neptune, the easier the lessons are.

Wednesday maintains the momentum through Mercury conjunct Mars. This is another urging to take decisive action. Avoid verbal confrontations, and also take caution while driving or traveling. Bypass mindless Mars aggression and use this vibrant connection to motivate and inspire your next steps.

Face Your Fears

On Thursday, Mercury is still running the show through Mercury opposing Pluto.  Your inner dragon may rear up and present many reasons why you cannot do what you *need* to do. Use this valuable energy to not only face your fears, but, take a look at what could go wrong in your plan.

Then, Mercury opposing Pluto becomes a rich field for harvest rather than a wasteland.

Astrology Star Cast Predictions for June 20

My key phrase for this week is: Inner Security

This is the week that invites you to surrender and invite all that is lush and fertile into your world.  Summer Solstice arrives a bit early this year, on June 20th, and the wisdom that is Mother Earth invites you to get in tune with the season.

You may know that Solstice means ‘Stand Still; and it’s actually a 3 day period when the sun has reached its most northern point in the sky. In the southern hemisphere, it’s actually mid-winter. So, for folks down under, keep warm and get cozy.

For people in the northern hemisphere, it’s the season of the longest days, and it’s a time when the Light of spirit is more illuminated.

Solstice Message

Solstice is a season of reconciliation; a time to evaluate and prepare for the next harvest . This week also delivers supportive planetary aspects. On Solstice (Tuesday) Venus sextile Neptune invites you to experience the Light; to unite with nature, to touch, see, feel, and breathe in the exquisite world that is possible. Venus sextile Neptune is an aspect of dance and harmony.

And, Mercury Sextile Uranus reminds us that we are best served when we name what we DO want as opposed to focusing on what we do not want. Mercury sextile Uranus engages your mind and offers pathways to ground the inspiration provided by Venus and Neptune.

The Answers You Seek

On Wednesday, Mercury leaves Gemini and enters Cancer, and the Sun also conjuncts Mercury, This is all about really digging into the change of the seasons, or, your personal Season of Change.

Wednesday would be a great day for a mini pilgrimage. Wednesday, as the Sun joins Mercury, make time to visit a place that inspires you to communicate with, and listen to, your inner wisdom.

The Divine Mother – Cancer New Moon

On Friday, June 23rd, we welcome the Cancer new moon. Cancer is a fruitful water sign that reinforces all types of nurturing.

Cancer teaches us all about true security, and the Cancer new moon comes to remind us that there is a safe harbor to be found in the midst of any storm.

The deeper spiritual lesson of Cancer is to regain balance, unify our lives, heal ourselves, and overcome the apparent limitations of the physical world.

The Rainbow Affirms the Protection of Jupiter

Hello and Welcome to my weekly Star Cast, where I bring you the update on what’s happening in the world of astrology and how you can apply the wisdom to enrich your life here on earth.

My key words for this week are: Awareness and Motivation

The Sun is now well into the mutable air sign of Gemini – and I can imagine that everyone is correspondingly busy. Gemini is noted as a sign of communication, so, if you have something important to say, this is an optimum time so do so.

The one thing you want to know about this week is that ** Hooray ** Jupiter stations direct on Friday, June 9th, the same day as the Sagittarius full moon.

Because Jupiter is the ruling planet of Sagittarius, this full moon comes with a cosmic exclamation point.

Jupiter has been retrograde since February 6th of this year. Jupiter is the planet of growth and expansion, and Jupiter is retrograde is a clean-up time period – a time to gain stability and prepare for your next phase of growth.

Jupiter retrograde often leaves you feeling a bit lethargic. So, this week’s Sagittarius full moon holds the promise of getting you motivated and re-energized.

Also, note that the moon opposes both Venus and Mercury this week. In astrology, the opposition is an aspect that allows you to stand back and evaluate – to see clearly, and gain an awareness of what you’re really seeing.

And, on Tuesday, June 6th, we have two planets changing signs! Venus leaves Aries and enters Taurus, and Mercury leaves Taurus, entering Gemini.

Venus is empowered in Taurus, the sign of her Rulership. You can further enhance her joy by making time to get out in nature. After all, Mother Earth offers the finest array of beauty; shopping is good, but you can also receive the blessing of Venus in the fragrance of a flower.

2018 –  A New Dawn

Venus continues to shine in her Lucifer stage as a Morning Star until late in 2017. As the year wanes, so does the Light of Venus, and by the end of the year she will be engulfed in the flames of the Sun. On November 13, 2017, as Venus slowly moves ever closer to the Sun, she enjoys a conjunction dance with Jupiter.

On January 9th, 2018, Venus merges into a Superior Conjunction with the Sun, after which she emerges, like the goddess Inanna, as a brilliant  Evening Star.

January 9/10 delivers a triple conjunction of the Sun, Venus, and Pluto! In alignment with the New Year, this transformational conjunction delivers hope and promises change.

Everything going on this week cultivates my key word of: Awareness. Use your senses to ‘feel’ what is happening, to discern what is real. Pay attention to messages you hear, even casual comments that may be speaking something you need to hear.

Remember, this week is for Awareness leading to Motivation.

Tune in, get clear, and get going. Remember to get out and enjoy the Sagittarius full moon on Friday. It will actually look the largest on Thursday night because the peak cycle is actually during the day on Friday.

Star Cast Predictions for May 22

Hello and Welcome to my weekly Star Cast, where I bring you the update on what’s happening in the world of astrology – and how you can apply the wisdom to enrich your life here on earth.

My key word for this week is: Versatility

One of the beautiful things about the computer age is that there is almost always more than one way to do a task. And, if you cannot accomplish your goal the first time, there are always more chances to complete your objective.

The week begins with a super busy Moon in Aries that makes aspects, or activates to 6 planets!! – Jupiter, Venus, Mars, Pluto, Saturn, and Uranus!

The planets are teachers, and each one has a specific function and message. So, although the moon is decreasing in energy, today is a great day to keep up your momentum from last week; get clear about how you can take things just one more step in a positive direction.

The Sun is now firmly into the early degrees of Gemini, and this week on Thursday, May 25th, the Sun and Moon join for their reset at the Gemini New Moon.

As a mental, air sign, Gemini and its mutable quality keeps you busy when the Sun travels through the zodiac sign.
And, remember that the glyph for Gemini is revealed as the twins.

The ancient wisdom behind this image reminds that two heads are better than one, and that you need not go it alone. This applies to personal and professional partnerships, business ideas, fun excursions, and almost every aspect of life.

In the season of Gemini, it is through sharing and communication that you develop a spiritual relationship with SELF. Gemini is also about equal partnerships, and it is in accordance with ancient teachings that June and/or the season of Gemini is a traditional month for marriages.

This week we are moving through the dark phase of the Moon cycle – perfecting this time for completion which was set up by recent planetary events such as Saturn trine Uranus on May 18th.

In keeping with the tone of this waning moon, on Tuesday, May 23rd the moon moves into Taurus and conjuncts Mercury late in the day. Moon conjunct Mercury is a precursor to the dynamic Gemini New Moon on Thursday.

Venus square Pluto just before the New Moon speaks to decisions that will be made in the lunar month ahead; there will be an important relationship that must be re-negotiated between May 25th and July 23rd.

Mars opposing Saturn on May 28th confirms this; be prepared to negotiate and be patient as you have to work through frustrating irritations.

Don’t lose your momentum. The early part of this week is a great time for positive strides on completing a long standing project, or resolving an issue that has been lingering in the background.

Versatility is a gift of the New Age, and that there are many ways to reach your goal. Clear your emotional space by tending to practical matters so that you can embrace fresh energy of the Gemini New Moon on Thursday.
