Astrologically, July 27th presents no major planetary or lunar aspects! But, instead of this feeling like a moment of peace, we sit in anticipation, knowing that the world stage is poised for big action. There has been some talk about some type of disruptive event tied in with the Olympics in London – my prediction is that we will get through the Olympics without death and destruction. I also think that the Olympics this year will favor the underdogs, the Dark Horse, unknown competitors whom nobody thought had a chance to win will show their real desire and drive, and take home many medals.
The part of the world where we all send our prayers of peace is to Syria. Hopefully the Sagittarius Moon and other positive astrological aspects lined up for tomorrow will deliver a breakthrough of hope and the Sun/Mercury conjunction will bring a message of peace. Monday, the 30th is my day to watch the world news – as the Moon conjuncts Pluto, and the Sun trines Uranus on the same day – the heads up here is: expect the unexpected.
Sun trine Uranus is time when something good can happen – a ray of hope shining into an open door that had been previously overlooked. The last day of July also opens with a gracious Venus trine Saturn. I love this one because Saturn has been kicking my butt for about 8 months – and this will hopefully bring the end to my time of trial. — just kidding. – well, really, not, but, anyway – Saturn and Venus make for strange bedfellows, in the same odd way that Pluto and Venus is not always a negative combination. We end July with Saturn empowered in Libra, and even softened by his visit from Venus.
Astrologically, August shapes up like the warm days of summer should be – we have 2 Full moons in August – one on the 1st, and the other on the 31st. When we have 2 Full moons in one calendar month such as this – the last one is referred to as the ‘Blue Moon.” – This is something to look forward to, and make your plans accordingly. We’re all looking for an amazing month ahead.
