The changing of the seasons is in full bloom, in the northern hemisphere we are well into spring, and in the southern hemisphere, it’s autumn.
No matter where you live, it’s a season of transition, and this week the planets Venus and Mars shift into action to help with the action.
Venus and Mars dance with each other this week through an aspect called a trine – translated, they are talking to each other.
Venus is in the fire sign Aries, and Mars in the fire sign Sagittarius.
Fire is the element of inspiration, so when Venus and Mars, the celestial lovers of the zodiac meet under a favorable aspect, you can expect the good kind of fireworks. People meet; they open up their hearts, get inspired, and sometimes even fall in love.
This is an excellent aspect for flirting, and know that this week the stars are situated in a way to help you in all relationships; this is also an opportunity to fall in love with your spouse (again), to learn how to get along with your boss or that antagonizing co-worker, or to make peace with your own imperfect self. Claim this week as a time for all flavors of love.

- Starting on Sunday, April 17th, and then on Monday, April 18th, the planets Pluto and Mars station retrograde.
Pluto and Mars moving in tandem activates dynamic energy; people can choose to activate this in a positive way by taking action to reframe long held habits that they wish to release.
Mars is retrograde until June 29th. The retrograde is about re-working something from the past. So, for example:
- This is an excellent time to re-program your subconscious mind;
- To re-set your metabolism;
- And, some people might want to re-consider decisions made long ago;
- So, to wrap up; this week Venus trine Mars in the fire element lights a great spark of inspiration. You may fall in love with another person, but it’s also an invitation to honor self.
