On Saturday, Venus, now retrograde, unites with the Sun. To the ancient astrologers, the ‘Invincible Sun’ was the master of all nature, creator and preserver of humanity.
The sun is the organizing planet of our solar system, and the term ‘Solar Logos’ implies that the Sun has a soul, and even directive power.
‘Logos’ is a Greek word that addresses a pattern that creates sustenance, and interconnecting patterns.
Apollo, one of the ancient Greek avatars of the Sun was gifted in musical harmony, math, medicine, and prophecy. Today, we would see the Sun as holding a template for sacred geometry, a force of creation.
Logos is also equated to the power of the spoken word and the human voice.
Symbolically, the Sun is an avatar of your will. And, as a co-creator endowed with the divine gift of free will choice, (the ability to choose a course of action) you determine how to allocate your solar energy.
Held in the embrace of Solar Logos is also the balance between the unconscious, undirected Life force and your conscious will power. Free will choice addresses your power to overcome chaos combined with the need to reconcile opposing forces in the human psyche.
Venus, with her thick atmospheres, functions as a gigantic a storage battery. The goddess Venus has no light source of her own; she only stores and reflects the energy and directive of the Sun.
Early theosophists described the Solar Logos as: Absolute Consciousness
The Sun fuels the very process of life on Mother Earth. Like a giant generator, the Sun gives its energy to grow plants, food, and seed the ongoing transformation of life on earth.
Venus works through magnetic persuasion; most of the time she’s charming, but other times, manipulative. Venus conjunct the Sun is the power of Primordial Wisdom uniting through the ties of relationship.
Hail the Retrograde King and Queen – Jupiter and Venus
Jupiter retrograde slowly dredging out layer upon layer of illusion, and will finally sort out truth from lies. Venus retrograde is exposing hidden relationships, bringing them to the Light of the Sun.
Solar energy is meant to benefit everyone – not just the few selected individuals. Hold back that which is meant to be shared and distributed.
Do not become disillusioned by the necessary digging out process that you see as the earth is literally upturned. You must continue to fuel, nurture, and grow your desires as the soil of a New Earth being prepared.

My key phrase for this week is: Giving Birth to the Truth
This week fleshes out the potential of our Aquarius New Moon on January 27th.
We also began the Chinese New year – the year of the Rooster. One of the things about Chinese astrology is that you can easily relate the qualities of each animal to the year – and in this instance, think about how the rooster crows – or speaks his message.
People will have a lot to say this year, and they will want to be heard.
To begin the lunar cycle, both in Western and Chinese Astrology, Mars entered Aries on the New Moon day, and we also had a major aspect of Venus square Saturn.
Mars is empowered in Aries, the sign of his ruler ship. Mars in Aries does not ask permission; rather his cosmic job description is to ‘get the job done.’ You have no doubt seen Mars in action – he is invigorated and no matter what your point of view is – Mars is active on both sides of the fence.
This week, Mercury, the planet of communication is busy!
On Tuesday, January 30th, we have another major aspect of Mercury square Uranus. This is radicalizing aspect – Mercury is about your message and your words; Uranus makes for sudden and swift action. All in all, the planets are gearing up for some fireworks.
And, on Thursday, February 2nd, Mercury is interacting with Jupiter through a square aspect. The square is an aspect of building and setting a new foundation.
Jupiter allows you to focus on your well-being – so, take a critical look at your habits – both habitual thinking as well as other activities.
Overall, it’s critical now to hold a positive mental state, and to further take it on to feed a positive lifestyle.
The first quarter moon on Friday, February 3rd is in Taurus, the sign of manifestation – and this means that your work this week will show up on the physical plane.
Remember – this is a vital week to give birth to your truth!

Today, Monday, November 21st delivers a third quarter moon in the powerful 29th degree of Leo – the home of Regulus – the royal Fixed star that sits at the heart of the Lion in the constellation of Leo.
Pause and reflect today because this is the degree of the solar eclipse in August of 2017. This lunation today presents an opportunity to peer into the future!
There is a subtle portal opening, an open door into the year ahead. And, because you have the Divine gift of free will choice, the Universe invites you to be proactive and set your future into motion by the actions you take today.
Even the sun enters Sagittarius today. A sign ruled by Jupiter, Sag is also a sign of prophecy. So, again, the stars invite you to open up the manifestation process for 2017 and take steps to manifest your vision.
We also have some major planetary aspects this week. On Tuesday, the 22nd, Mercury (also in Sagittarius) sextiles Jupiter. This is another invitation to think large, to dream, and come up with practical plans and directives.
Thanksgiving day in the US is a nice, peaceful day with the moon traveling through Libra. This sign of relationships is a perfect influence for meeting with friends and family.
Friday, the 25th is more intense as Venus conjuncts Pluto. On th is day, emotions surface for resolution. So, eat and be joyful on Thursday, and avoid conflict on Friday – if you must have a heart to heart this week and need to be heard, come to the table with sincerity, but do it before Friday.
Looking like the calm after a storm, Saturday, November 26th delights with fresh energy of Mercury trine Uranus.
This is an aspect of genius and it will help to facilitate things working out right.

There are always select moments in life that are ingrained in our energy field; for example, maybe you remember your first day at school, or the moment you met a partner, or held your newborn child.
I also remember the first time I heard the word ‘paradigm’. I was a bit shocked because I didn’t understand it. Here’s a definition: ‘a theory or a group of ideas about how something should be done, made, or thought about’. A paradigm is also a model or pattern that can be copied; a broad philosophical framework.
The paradigm concept expanded my thinking, and this Aries New Moon conjunct Uranus, the Awakener, can and will do the same for us all.
You only need to turn on the news to see our world paradigm exploding. Here in the US, it doesn’t feel good to see sexism and stalking brought to the forefront of politics.
But, everywhere in the world, events are rapidly unfolding to create a new paradigm; Brexit, the Great Barrier Reef, the death of Thailand’s King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
The date when Uranus entered Aries, March of 2011, initiated a paradigm shift. Within months, the fires of war were lit and have now exploded into infernos across the land.
But, there is hope in revolution. Uranus is a catalyst – an agent that creates something entirely new and unique out of dissimilar materials. Uranus is also an Alchemist; a force that purifies, matures, and perfects. Injustice, inequality, and oppression all feed the Alchemical fires that are burning today.
And, you can take heart in knowing that this giant, full super Moon – as it unites with Uranus – signals the ripening and maturation of his time of chaos. The world will not change overnight, but you can change your world in an instant.

Uranus is a catalyst that activates your mind like a bolt of lightning
Venus and Uranus continue their opposition dance, and the week begins with Venus, the planet of attraction and love forming a favorable aspect of opportunity to Mars, the planet of action.
This need not be only personal love – it also addresses getting busy doing something you are passionate about.
Maybe it’s just creating an outline for a book you’ve been intending to write, or, something like starting that exercise routine that you’ve been thinking about for so long. With the moon in Taurus, it’s time to take your thoughts and dreams, and make them real.
Tomorrow, September 20th, we have a major planetary aspect between Mercury and Pluto – this is another aspect of taking an idea, represented by Mercury, and transforming the thought into something of value.
Many people are aware that Mercury has been retrograde for a few weeks now, and on Wednesday, Mercury stations direct. This is a bit of a relief because Mercury has been traveling backwards through Virgo, one of the signs of his rulership – this means it’s been a bit stronger than usual.
Jupiter is home to the Archangels and Ascended Masters
Virgo is about making decisions and you may have had to make decisions, but felt that you didn’t’ have all the information needed. This will stabilize by the end of the week. Your next steps come through with clarity by the 27th.
On Thursday, September 22nd, we celebrate the Autumnal Equinox – a time of balance between the earth and her relationship with the Sun. As the days are balanced between night time and day light, it’s also a time to find balance within your own body, mind and spirit.
Sunday, September 25th is another dynamic day with the Sun conjunct Jupiter – this happens only one day per year, and is a day of special growth and expansion. Embrace all that Jupiter brings; wishing you:
